Entertainment News: Anshula Kapoor has now given fans a glimpse into her engagement with Rohan Thakkar by posting some lovely pictures. The occasion was made even more special with the presence of close friends and family, including Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, and others, who joined in to celebrate her happiness. The engagement was held on October 2 at her father Boney Kapoor’s home in Bandra, in a warm and private gathering where the entire Kapoor family came together.
Two days later, Anshula shared official moments from the ‘Gor Dhana’ or engagement ceremony. The photos feature her with Arjun Kapoor, her sisters Janhvi and Khushi, and her father Boney Kapoor. Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Shikhar Pahariya, and Shanaya Kapoor can also be seen in the frames, showing the love and joy of the event. A touching highlight was Anshula’s sweet tribute to her late mother, Mona Shourie. She placed her framed picture on a chair beside her, saying she felt her mother’s presence all around. An emotional snap also captured a warm hug between Anshula and her brother Arjun, while another photo showed Boney Kapoor blessing the couple.
The ceremony also had a cheerful family portrait where Sonam posed with Anshula and Rohan, while Arjun and Karan Boolani stood ahead. Shikhar Pahariya was clicked next to Janhvi, with Shanaya, Jahaan, and Rhea also joining in the happy group shot. Some candid shots showed Anshula dancing with her father, Boney Kapoor, and smiling alongside her sisters Janhvi and Khushi.
Sharing the pictures, Anshula wrote, “02/10/2025 This wasn’t just our Gor Dhana, it was love shining through every little detail. Ro’s favourite words have always been ‘Always and Forever’ – and today, they felt real in the sweetest way. His love makes me believe fairytales don’t only exist in books, they happen in moments like these.” She added further, “A room filled with laughter, hugs, blessings, and the people who make life whole. And Ma’s love… wrapping us silently. In her flowers, her words, her seat, and in the way her presence was felt everywhere. All I could think was: this is what forever should feel like. Rab raakha.”
Anshula and Rohan first connected on a dating app in 2022. In July this year, Rohan proposed to her in Central Park, New York, beginning their fairytale journey.
